batter

• Besan 1 cup
• Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
• Salt 1 teaspoon
• Red chili 1 teaspoon
• Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
• Carom seeds 1/4 teaspoon
• Water as needed
Combine all ingredients for batter in a bowl and make a batter of coating consistency.

1. Heat a pan, add butter and sauté onion and garlic till soft.
2. Add chicken and cook till cooked through.
3. Add mushrooms and cook till try.

4. Combine the stock and cream and add it to pan.
5. Add salt, pepper, chilies and parsley.
6. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
7. When boiling add the cornflour to thicken.
8. Remove from pan and cool completely.

9. Cut the bread slices in triangles or circles.
10. Apply the chicken and mushroom mixture on 1 slice and cover with other slice and press edges.

11. Dip the prepared bread in besan batter and deep fry over med high heat, till golden brown.
12. Remove from oil and serve with any sauce of choice.
