Chicken Marry Me Pasta

Pat chicken dry. Slice into cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add chicken and sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add flour, stir for 1 minute.

Slowly whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream.

Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 4–5 minutes until thickened.

Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Thin sauce with reserved pasta water if needed.

Slice chicken into strips. Add drained pasta and chicken to sauce. Toss to coat and heat through.

Garnish with extra parmesan and fresh basil. Serve hot.
