Launching of the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk



Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk was born, when the two strong competitors, Nestlé and the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company, the original manufacturer, decided to join forces and become one entity in 1866

Beirut’s office is set up



Nestlé Sweetened Condensed milk made its way to the households in the Middle East when the first Nestlé office was set up in Beirut.The company started distributing some of the finest imported Swiss products, with the main highlight being Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk, in the nearby countries, making the brand a favorite in the region in no time.

Nestlé expands further in the Middle East 



Nestlé expanded further in the Middle East, overseeing offices in Syria, Palestine and Iraq to facilitate the supply of Nestlé products to the whole region.
            

Nestlé Middle East is established



Nestlé Middle East was born as regional head office for all the GCC and Levant. By that time Sweetened Condensed Milk had become an essential dessert ingredient in Middle Eastern households.

Expansion of Nestlé in the GCC



During this period, Nestlé opened offices in most of the GCC countries, namely Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Nestlé products were already a household staple, and these new offices ensured that customers always had a steady supply of their favorite products, especially the Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk.            

Release of Nestlé Sweetened Condensed FAT FREE



As part of the continuous effort to offer innovative solutions, Nestlé Sweetened Condensed FAT FREE was launched, allowing women to indulge in lighter desserts.

Nestlé has the largest dessert database in the region



By 2013, Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk had the largest dessert database in the region and Nestlé worldwide. Recipes included easy as 1, 2, 3, lighter recipes, and occasion specific desserts.

The Nestlé Desserts Arabia app is born



Always willing to keep up with the latest trends in the region, and due to the huge smartphone penetration level especially in GCC, the Nestlé Desserts Arabia app, the ultimate dessert solution, was born; where every woman now had over 300 recipes at the palm of her hand.
