Step 1

Soak previously washed saboo dana in 2 cups plain water for 2 hours. Throw the water out and set aside.

Step 2

Boil the saboo dana in 1 glass water and keep stirring for 20 mins on low heat till soft. Add milk and cook a further 20 mins till milk is reduced, constantly stirring.
Add the sugar. Mix. Add the crushed cardamon and diluted pinch of saffron in 1 tsp water.
Keep stirring till the consistency is thick ( that's upto you how much liquid you want in it ) Adjust sugar if necessary.
